About this course

This course will navigate you through the definition of micro-aggressions, ensuring that you’re clear about the numerous forms that they take and the people who are impacted. You’ll appreciate the challenges that targets face and why allyship is so important in addressing this type of behaviour.

You’ll have both the confidence and competence to employ key strategies as an ally and an active bystander to fully participate in creating an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.

Jill Scott

With a career spanning over 35 years, Jill has worked for a number of higher education institutions advising them on a number of key initiatives, and leading on projects including Dignity at Work, Athena Swan and Race Equality Charter submissions.

Her expert knowledge and understanding of inclusion topics led to increased demand for bespoke training across a wide range of businesses. Since 2006, Jill has delivered bespoke training to companies in topics specialising in issues around race and gender equality, unconscious and implicit bias, and issues around workplace bullying and harassment.
